ZurrMatic PLUS – with automatic braking function and higher lashing capacity The ZurrMatic PLUS stands out from other standard automatic tie-down straps due to its many practical features. The webbing retraction mechanism with automatic braking function is particularly user-friendly. This prevents the hook from kicking back, eliminating the risk of hand injuries during tightening. Higher lashing capacity, greater length. Instead of the usual 3 m maximum length, the ZurrMatic PLUS is 5 m long, making it suitable for significantly more applications. It is especially advantageous in vans or on trailers. This includes a significantly higher lashing capacity than comparable products on the market. With a lashing capacity of LC 1,000 daN (in direct tension), the ZurrMatic PLUS is clearly superior to other automatic tie-down straps, which currently have a maximum LC of 750 daN. Theft-proof – thanks to optimized mechanics The new, optimized mechanism allows a padlock to be attached to the ratchet lever. This securely protects the lashing strap from theft. It also ensures that the load securing hasn't been altered during breaks. Easiest operation, less loosening while driving. Thanks to the automatic function, there's no need to thread the strap through the ratchet. This makes using the strap very simple. Another advantage: Because the ZurrMatic PLUS tensions only a portion of the strap, rather than the entire spool, it loosens significantly less while driving. This is a major benefit compared to other automatic lashing straps on the market. These straps are not tensioned at all, but only a portion of the spool. Easy operation in 6 steps: Fully unfold the ratchet and rotate the winding shaft into position using the side adjustment aid. Attach the strap to the load. Activate the ratchet so that at least 2-3 layers of webbing are on the winding shaft and the strap is taut. Fold the ratchet back during transport (resting on the roller). To release, fully unfold the ratchet again. Roll up the strap; if necessary, brake the webbing manually when the automatic brake is activated.
