The tie-down ring replaces the usual loop at the end of a rope!

pull the loose end of the rope through the eyelet, strain the connection and hold the rope with a
fingertip in the Knoti so thatit does not slip back

now place the end of the rope away from you with the
other hand......tum the resulting rope arc to a half stitch

place it over the conical pin, press the half stitch firmly under the Knoti with your thumb (Fig. 6) and pull the end of the rope forwards .... Done! (look the Video )
To open simply pull the end of the rope even after a heavy load
advantage:
-very effective and tight lashing by deflecting the rope in the lashing eye.
-quick opening of the connection without damaging the rope or Knoti.
-re-tensioning possible
